Pride fills the Centrum with street parties and rainbow flags on the bridges, and on the Saturday the Canal Parade takes over the water. Emily knows which crossings close and when, and she gives a guest a realistic time for her arrival before the booking is confirmed. She speaks Romanian and English, and she is warm without being loud on a week that is already loud enough. Nuru and body to body are the formats she tends to bring during Pride. At twenty-five she makes her limits known at the start, in ordinary words, and the session follows them.

Emily decides which bookings she takes and may decline any of them; she sets the limits for what a session includes, says what they are, and may end a visit at any point, as the terms set out.
