Twenty-one or over: the age rule, on every date of the year
Everyone who books, everyone else in the room and every woman on the roster is twenty-one or over. A photo document may be asked for at the door.
The age rule has three parts. The guest making the booking has to be twenty-one or over. Anyone else present in the room must be twenty-one or over. And every woman who works with the house is twenty-one or over. There are no exceptions, and none of the three bends for a festival, a birthday or a group that has travelled a long way.
At the door
She may ask to see a photo document. She looks at it once and hands it back; it is not copied, photographed or written down. On event dates, when groups of friends come back to one room together, she is more likely to ask.
Who else is in the room
Anyone who is not part of the booking should not be present. If the room holds people who were never part of the arrangement, or anyone who cannot show they are twenty-one or over, she leaves before anything starts.
