Balance at the door: the second half, paid on arrival

The balance is what is left of the fee after any deposit, paid on arrival, in euro cash or another major currency once that sum is confirmed in writing.

The balance is simply whatever remains of the fee once the deposit has been paid. On most bookings, that is half. On the one booking that carries no deposit, a returning client's same-day hour or two at a city address on a date that is not peak, it is the whole fee.

When it is paid

When she arrives, at the start of the visit. Have it ready and somewhere obvious, so that nothing about the first minutes is spent searching for a wallet.

In what

Cash in euro is the plain case. A visitor at the end of a trip who has cash in another major currency can pay the balance in that, provided the exact sum in that currency has been confirmed in writing in the thread before she sets out. Every figure on this site is in euro and includes all taxes.

What the balance is not

It is not negotiable at the door, and it is not reduced if the session is ended early by the guest. A session cut short on the guest's side remains payable for the time reserved. If you know before she sets out that you want a shorter booking, say so in the thread, and the booking and its balance change accordingly. The deposit entry covers the first half.
