Free move: changing the date once without losing anything
One change of date is free when asked more than a day before the booked time, to a new date within fourteen days. The deposit carries across unchanged.
Event trips change shape. A flight moves, a set is announced for a different night, a friend's plans shift. The free move exists for exactly that. Once per booking, you can change the date without losing anything, as long as two conditions are met.
The two conditions
- The request reaches the thread more than twenty-four hours before the booked time.
- The new date is no more than fourteen days from the old one.
With both met, the deposit carries across to the new date in full. The free move does not promise that the same woman will be free on the new date; the reply says who is, and you choose.
What is not a free move
A second change of date, or any change asked for inside the last twenty-four hours, counts on the notice scale as though it were a cancellation arriving at that moment. Whatever the scale does not keep is carried on to the new date. A change of hour on the same day is a different matter; it depends only on whether she is free at the new hour.
On the dance event and other festivals
The free move is particularly useful for festivals whose timetables are published after most visitors have booked. Fixing an early evening hour for one night and moving it once the set times are out is a common and sensible pattern. The September note on the dance event works through it.
